A red-shouldered hawk chick, which fell out of its nest and spent a little time with Greg and Julie
"A young great horned owl that also fell out of its nest and broke its leg. It has a pin in the leg that will hopefully be removed in a few weeks. It seems to be gaining use of the foot again, so we`ll keep our fingers crossed."
A baby Great Horned Owl that Julie picked up on from Vandenberg. Its nest was on top of a drainage pipe, and with recent rains, it was washed down and destroyed.
Here`s a rare one: a golden eagle which hopefully will recover and be released into the wild.
